One of the many things I look for when I am working on a series is not just if the artwork is strong enough to stand on its own but how the pieces could look when grouped together. This is helpful when planning an exhibition but also when I am speaking with collectors about works that could be hung in sets. The little paintings above are part of a surprise spin off series titled Prairie Winds. The paintings are about the vibrant saturated colors, lush chaos and soft winds that occur on the prairie/grasslands during the spring and summer.
