The Exacting Potion encaustic painting series, although connected to the Poseidon work I did earlier this year, is different in it’s story and approach. I’ll write more about the story when the series is finished. The photograph above shows some of the brushwork used on panel no.5 to create areas where I want to suggest movement.
Work Continues on New Series…
September has been a very busy week in the studio. Not only working on large oil and acrylic paintings, but starting and getting close to completing The Exacting Potion encaustic series. A group of 6 works on cradled birch wood panels. Numbers 1-3 and 6 are 98% complete 4 and 5 are shaping up nicely.
